Our company is one of the biggest process houses in India. The process house has the state-of-art machinery for processing quality fabric. MORE
The company has undertaken manufacturing sponge iron as the nucleus for setting up a wholly Integrated Steel Plant.
IN A SNAPSHOT:
Incorporated in the year 1993 as a public limited company, Janki Corp Limited (initially named Janki Processors Limited) was established as a textile process house in Bhilwara, Rajasthan.
We’ve come a long way since then and today, we hold the enviable reputation of being one of the biggest processing houses in India. From textiles, we forayed into the domain of the steel industry, by setting up a sponge iron plant. Situated in Bellary, the plant was successful in tripling the capacity of sponge iron production in just a few years.
Capitalising on the overall shortage of high grade iron ore lumps, we set up an iron-ore pelletisation plant, that agglomerates the ore to be used for iron making. We, at JCL believe in utilising our resources to the optimum, and to that end, we used the gases from the sponge iron plant and set up a power plant focusing on Waste Heat Recovery. We have also set up an iron ore benefeciation plant- which is the ultimate step towards the backward integration of the project.
Today, we are proud to be owners of a 15 MW power plant and a 6 Lakh tonnes per annum iron ore pelletisation plant. Our main aim at JCL has always been to establish ourselves as an integrated steel plant with a backward integration in place. We have also set up an Induction Furnace with secondary refining and continuous casting to produce steel billets.
Looking ahead, we intend to add new chapters to our success story, through capacity expansion in our existing plant and also by investing in other greenfield projects.
